GENERAL PURPOSE: Sitting in the New York Buying Office, the IT Manager II leads complex merchandising initiatives, translating business needs into system requirements and delivering end-to-end IT solutions. This role oversees a team of analysts to prioritize backlogs, align with business objectives, and ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities include business analysis, user story development, testing, documentation, and project management, while coordinating with internal and external partners to meet commitments. The base salary range for this role is $129,100 - $220,600. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop a team of business and application analysts; provide guidance for career growth and foster collaboration. • Product & Project Ownership: Serve as Product Manager or Lead Business Analyst for merchandising IT initiatives; manage backlogs, scope, resources, and timelines. • Business Partnership: Act as liaison for Merchandising IT needs; partner with business leaders to assess value, build business cases, and prioritize demand. • Delivery & Support: Oversee project lifecycle from estimation to production support; troubleshoot and resolve issues with Business and IT teams. • Strategic Planning: Contribute to portfolio strategy and organizational planning; coach team members and align initiatives with business objectives. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external IT teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and support. • Communication & Reporting: Prepare and present materials to senior leadership; develop action plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. • Professional Competencies: Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; maintain customer focus, sense of urgency, and continuous learning. COMPETENCIES: People • Building Effect Teams (for managers of People and/or Projects)• Developing Talent (for managers of People)• Collaboration Self • Leading by Example • Communicates Effectively • Ensures Accountability and Execution • Manages Conflict Business • Business Acumen • Plans, Aligns and Prioritizes • Organizational Agility QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: • At least 10 years' IT experience within a Fortune 500 or similar IT environment, retail experience strongly desired • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related technical field (preferred). • 3+ years in Master Data Management (MDM) with at least one full lifecycle implementation, ideally in product and supplier domains. • Hands-on experience with merchandising systems (e.g., Oracle RMS, SAP Retail); Bamboo Rose experience highly desired. • Familiarity with MDM platforms, merchandise hierarchy transformation, Global Trade Management, and Product Lifecycle Management (nice to have). • Proven ability to translate business needs into measurable outcomes; experience in requirements development, prioritization, business testing, and partnering with delivery teams. • Prior experience in production support, preferably in merchandising; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate, train, and present to all organizational levels. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused; some travel may be required. • Some travel may be required • Nice to have: Experience in either MDM platforms, merchandise hierarchy transformation, Global Trade Management, Product Lifecycle Management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
