Job Opening The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing a contract supporting the Army Contracting Command Project Manager Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT). We are looking for a Logistician to provide oversight of all logistics within the PM PNT at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides overall oversight for all aspects of logistics for the contract; including oversight of system fielding, implementation and execution of field support.
- Approves final version of reporting for obsolescence management, maintenance reporting, failure reporting, asset reporting, post fielding reports etc.
- Monitors efficiency of field support personnel and makes recommendations regarding co-use of personnel.
- Perform system life-cycle cost analysis, and develop component studies.
- Provides oversight for planning and execution of training support across all programs.
- Stay informed of logistics technology advances, and Government policies and apply them in order to improve logistics processes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university. Certified Logistics Professional certification.
- Experience: 15 years of experience as a logistician within the DOD environment.
- Security Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance.
