Qualified PCT’s, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are looking PCT’s with In Patient / Hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Minimal requirements include;

-Highschool diploma

-A Maryland CNA License

-at least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years

-Proficient in phlebotomy, starting IV’s, EKG

Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Neuroscience Critical Care Unit (NCCU) , is a 24-bed ICU that is at the forefront of advancing neurological care, with a team committed to excellence, research, and the highest standards of patient outcomes. Our NCCU prides itself on being a center of excellence committed to delivering exceptional care to patients facing complex neurological disorders such as strokes (including post-tPa), ALS, Guillain-Barre, seizures, and more.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.

  • One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required.

  • Current CPR certification

Salary Range: Minimum $17.37/hour - Maximum $​​​​26.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
