Summary

We are looking for a Spanish speaker teacher for our toddler class
we are an Spanish Immersion Preschool
Work shifts available are 15-20 hours per week. Afternoon shift 1 pm to 5/5:30 pm
Monday - Friday

The Teacher is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children and resolve parental concerns.

Duties

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Maintain frequent communications with staff.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Follow the daily curriculum

Requirements

• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, and children) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Social Security, ITIN or Current Passport required foe background check
• minimum of two years in a daycare setting
• 2 years of teaching toddlers
• high energy
• Check the distance from your home to the daycare

Nice To Haves

• CPR o and First Aid or willing to take the classes

Benefits

Salary depends on experience and educational level $12 per hr
